Stayed here in out campervan. Great site set right next to the Loch. Liked that you are not on set pitchs if on the field. The loch was great and very easy access with paddle boards kayaks ect. Will definitely stay again . Bit of a climbing frame for kids but would be nice with abit of a smaller one for the smaller kids . But overall very good .

This Holiday park is at a beautiful location, the lake is very pretty if camping you can set a tent up by the lake and you’ve got a good view. This holiday park has a reception with nice staff where you could also buy things for fishing, can get a coffee, ice packs (can freeze for a cheap price). If going with kids this holiday park has got a play area. There’s bathrooms and showers, there’s multiple drinking water taps around and bins for your rubbish. The water in the lake is nice and in the night you have got the clearest dark sky with stars and the Milky Way all visible to the eye. If you need to go shopping for food or anything there’s a Tesco nearby in castle Douglas about 15 mins away. This is a really great place to stay and spend your holiday there. ❤️
